Brittany Sheffield
Hey folks! Today we introduce Brittany Sheffield to Ink Panda and along this interview we get to learn a little about her, her music and even her management for another singer that will be joining us at a later date! EXCITEMENT!

Sheffield is a singer/songerwriter and artist manager who, every now and again dabbles in the instruments, is from a little town in Georgia called Butler. At the very moment she only has covers, but don't let that push you away from her skills! She does live shows when she can and admits, "As any performer would agree, everyone gets a little nervous on stage!" But afterwards, she reassures any future artist that plans to get on stage. "...but I have had a lot of crowd exposure and I am pretty comfortable now. There is still hope for those just starting! Doubts are a part of the music industry, unfortunately, but it breeds a durable and confident worker."

I would have to agree with her, even though industries are tough to crack open when you start out, if you push through the fright, you'll reach that state of comfort where confidence is key.

Off the left in the video you can see a guitarist- chillin', doing his thang like a boss- and just as many of you may be wondering, I asked her about the young fellow! It turns out the guitarist's name is Marcel and although the two aren't a band when paired, she performs her shows with him and boy do they go together.
Despite singing a lot of songs, Sheffield does have a favorite; "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals. This song is one of my favorites as well- to listen to, not so much sing in front of people as... well... no one likes to hear nails across a chalkboard, do they? [haha]. This song has a kick of soul and so hearing Sheffield sing her lungs off and nailing it makes my heart flutter and I hope it does the same for you all as you listen below!

Now, as you can see, Sheffield is a very lovely singer and I know you wish to hear her voice in more videos. If that is the case, head on over to her YouTube channel or her Facebook page and show some love with those like buttons while you read on.
Earlier, it was mentioned that Brittany was an artist manager. Now before you scratch your heads, raise your brows and say, "Huh?" Don't worry, we asked for you and got a very clear response.
Aside from getting her voice out there, Brittany takes her skills of wanting [and loving] to help others and volunteers in an organization known as Pure Motivation. She also manages a few other artists such as JD Davis (aka Clutxh Motif) and Callie Miller.
"I am currently working with Callie Miller who is an indie singer/songwriter with a phenomenal voice and tons of potential!" She goes on to say, "I am essentially her right hand woman. I handle the daily business affairs of her life, get her gigs, and cheer her on as her biggest fan!" If that's not top-notch managerial skills then I'm living in the wrong world.
I asked Sheffield if there was anything she wanted the viewers of Ink Panda to know about her and her work ethics.
"Expect a great deal of passion and enthusiasm from me! I am 150% with everything that I do, and when I set a goal, I always accomplish it, or I will die trying! I set out to attend college and I ended up at Full Sail at the age of 17 studying music, living on my own, performing and managing an artist! I consider “the impossible” a challenge! My website is here and all of my contact info is on there if you are interested in talking with me furthur about my music career, my artists, or even if you need a motivational boost!" She then continued on, "Do what makes YOU happy! The only one that deals with what you do or don't do when you lay your head to sleep at night, is you. Believe in yourself and others will follow!"
Brittany mentioned that she looks up to artists Shakira, Christina Perri and Christina Aguilera. A word from Ink Panda to all of you is that you never know where life will take you and your inspirations can take you from being inspired to becoming someone else's inspiration. So do everything you can to be you and to be happy because one person's happiness can create a chain of happiness for another and the chain will keep adding links.
Stay tuned in for a later interview with Callie Miller (yes, the same Callie Miller managed by Brittany Sheffield)!
Art on!
