Callie Miller

Hello you beautiful beings! Today we welcome the long awaited interview of Callie Miller! She is currently managed by Brittany Sheffield and is an indie singer/songwriter getting her name out there.

Miller creates her own music, therefore, what you get from her is a raw, original voice that flows through your ears like water. "I enjoy singing my original music." She says in her interview. "When I have the control of how my song ends or which path the tone can go, it’s the most miraculous feeling."

"It's like I'm narrating my own world."

I've met a lot of singers in my young years and I've noticed that a lot of them tend to know [or attempt to play] other instruments aside from their voices. Miller takes the virtuoso route as she "dabbles" in piano, guitar, keyboards and even the harmonica! "I currently own about four guitars and a keyboard," she states. "For me there's no end to learning the tools towards better music." I have to applaud that statement as I believe if you want to do something- even if it's multiple things- you go for it!

I asked Callie if she would think it to be a good idea to sing with Brittany Sheffield ato some point in their careers; here was her response. "Oh absolutely! In fact the way we started talking was when she introduced me to her acapella group she just bang to create. All the time we’d sing together and naturally harmonize different songs outside the cafe. But we have yet to really perform anything together even though I absolutely would."

There you have it folks, one of these days we may just find a collaboration of Callie Miller and Brittany Sheffield! Two beautiful voices and one grand song! Hopefully they get the chance to do so.

Placing first and third in talent shows, Miller also takes part in open mics. If you're interested in seeing more videos and hearing more music from her, head over to her YouTube channel and bring your headphones!

I asked if there was anything else she would like you folks to know. "I want them to know that they are loved. From someone, somewhere, they are truly loved. I want my music help them realize that. To help them realize all the vast beautiful emotions they’ve felt in their past and near future. Music is a soul feeding concept. I’m here to help feed your souls with my original sounds." She continued with, "Just remember, To be Great is to be Different. Be your absolute self and don’t feel discouraged to be different or unusual. You are one in seven billion. No one can compete with you. Show your creative original side to the world and offer them what you have. Not just for them but for you. Just for you to recognize your talents and help you realize how beautiful a person you truly are. Never give up. If it feels right don’t deny it. Because those moments of enlightenment belong to you and you alone. You are beautiful."

Hearing these encouraging words, I'm going to ask you folks to listen to this advice and these kind words as they are truth. You have free reign to be yourself and so you should be! We will be keeping up with Callie Miller and will be letting you folks know what's happening! With that said, art on!
