Games: Throne of Gods

Somewhere out there, there is a gamer who doesn't know much about the different mythologies or cultural histories of Africa. Somewhere in out there, there is a story waiting to be told. Now we are going to have our cake and eat it, too!
Throne of Gods focuses on the African mythologies that aren't well-known to those outside of that culture. In my personal opinion, this is a great idea! I say this because, everyone knows about greek mythology, they may not know details, but they know what it's about. They know the legends and myths that are sometimes taught in schools. African mythology is not something schools teach- at least not here in America- so to see this coming through brings joy to my heart as even I have never done research on such subject.

This game will shed light on gods like Shango- the god of storms- and Akonadi- the goddess of justice and protector of women. It will educate these mythologies and other African history and culture to show what the world doesn't know or doesn't know much about. Using Unity game engine, Iruo Umusu and Ali Akdogan have begun to put this education into something the world can play and learn from and even be enticed to find more research on the subjects.
