OSHUN: Protect Yourself
There are many artists out there in the world of music who have a message for the world, but there is no one out there delivering that message like OSHUN.
Beginning their sisterhood in March of 2013, Niambi Sala [right] and Thandiwe [left]. It was there, at their NYU scholarship orientation, they knew they shared the same views in life and wanted to share it with the world.
"The name OSHUN pays homage to the Yoruba river deity (Oṣun) and her sisters (Iyemoja and Oya) who all represent elements of femininity and womanhood." From their bio
In 2015 they released a mixtape for Earth Day called "ASASE YAA" which you can download from Datpiff and Livemixtapes. On the ASASE YAA mixtape there is a song named Protect Yourself and until today it was only audio!
